Description
The Stilo ST5 FN Carbon ABP helmet is an extreme light weight helmet designed for open wheel racing where the drivers head is exposed to the race elements. Crafted from a high-tensile carbon fiber layup and having additional protection to the forehead and chin area this helmet exceeds the FIA 8860 rating and ABP (advanced ballistic protection) rating. The ABP rating utilizes extra protection and a smaller eyeport to enhance driver safety in wheel to wheel environments. Improvements also have been made to the interior design with removable cheek & top pads allowing drivers to obtain the perfect fit. Helmets come standard with removable earmuff cushions which provide a significantly quieter environment for the driver by isolating the ear. Other Features: All Stilo closed faced helmets come in two separate shell sizes allowing us to craft a better fitting helmet that is lighter weight. Ready for non-integrated electronics, air supply, and hydration or any combination of the three this helmet is one of the top helmets on the IMSA grid.
